What's New in 10.6.1

This page outlines what's new in the current release. If you are upgrading from more than one release prior, it is important to review all What's New pages for each release between your original release and the release to which you are upgrading.

ArcFM Desktop

• The XY Locator tool has been enhanced to use the coordinates at the center of the map as a starting point for the X and Y coordinates populated in the tool.
• Toolbars have all been renamed to have an ArcFM Solution prefix, so all SE toolbars show up in one group in the ‘Customize’ list in ArcMap.
• GIS windows move to the center when a user alters their display so a GIS window would have been off-screen (examples include disconnecting a monitor, undocking a laptop, etc.).
• ADMS - New QA/QC Rules were added to assist users looking to integrate with an ADMS system.
• Conduit Manager - A new Duct Annotation Display Namer was added.
• Designer - Improvements were made to Create Favorites dialog performance.
• Designer - A new subtask, Submit As-Built Express Design to GDBM, allows Designer Express Designs to post to GDBM after commissioning an Express Design.

ArcFM Engine

• There is no new functionality in this release.

ArcFM Server

• There is no new functionality in this release.

Fiber Manager

• Improved workflow for removing a splice or riser between two risers.
• Enhanced the Interleave Splitters functionality.
• Circuit Manager can now default new circuits to be configured as Available/Unavailable at the system level.
• The Circuit Manager window is now modeless, so it can remain open while the user performs various tasks in ArcMap. 
• The ability to keep fields from previous circuit creation applied in Circuit Manager has been brought back.

Geodatabase Manager

• Geodatabase Manager now deletes all the ESENT files after the Feeder Sync action handler finishes processing a version.
• Added ability to send targeted email notifications to current design or session owner.
• A new subtask, Submit As-Built Express Design to GDBM, allows Designer Express Designs to post to GDBM after commissioning an Express Design.
• GDBM scheduler has been enhanced to better handle events that span multiple days.

Geodatabase Replication

• There is no new functionality in this release.

Responder

• Switching Order Report output can now be displayed in HTML or Excel.
• Users now have the ability to edit snippets.
• Responder Web Open Calls page now shows Location Calls.
• +1 prediction is now configurable to +n, with n being defined by the user.
