Fiber Manager 10.6.1a Release Contents

Fiber Manager allows users to manage and analyze fiber optic systems. It provides a set of tools and reports that connect, maintain, and manage an organization's fiber infrastructure.
 

There is some new functionality in the 10.6.1a release of Fiber Manager that is described in What's New in 10.6.1a?. 
 

• CLS-57460 - Ampersand (&) character is not supported in Circuit Name for Trace Report.
• CLS-57998 - Fiber Glass Report fails for selection of over 100 cables when run before starting an edit session.
• CLS-68741 - Faulty circuit graph when circuit is a loop.
• CLS-69037 - Recalculate button sometimes missing in Circuit Manager.
• CLS-69249 - New circuits have incorrect length.
• CLS-69495 - Make sure Unavailable/Available setting persists in Circuit Manager.
• CLS-69589 - Cannot save two name changes through Circuit Manager.
• CLS-69952 - Error when trying to open a Fiber Schematic.
• CLS-70244 - Connection Manager fails to delete connections with multiple actions before Apply.
• CLS-70573 - Square brackets causing issues in circuit names.
• CLS-70640 - Glass Report fails for cables that include ampersand in the SHEATHTYPE field.
• CLS-70823 - Circuits updated on reconcile, even when user has not made edits to Fiber Manager features.
• CLS-71429 - Circuit Manager recalc only working when lambda or header is changed.

Upgrade Information

Installation Instructions

The 10.6.1a installers act as complete installers for versions of ArcFM Solution prior to 10.6.1, and upgrade installers for ArcFM Solution 10.6.1 and newer. As such, you will first need to uninstall any version of your product that is below 10.6.1 before installing ArcFM Solution 10.6.1a.

PRE-INSTALLATION NOTES

• Ensure that your hardware and software meet the ArcGIS system requirements. 
• ​Ensure that your hardware and software meet the 10.6.1 - 10.6.1b ArcFM Desktop, Designer, Designer Express, Network Adapter, Fiber Manager, Conduit Manager, License Manager, and Object Reader for Desktop - Supported Versions.
• Fiber Manager 10.6.1a requires a complete upgrade to ArcGIS 10.6.1. ArcGIS must be upgraded before you upgrade to Fiber Manager 10.6.1a.
• When you upgrade to Fiber Manager 10.6.1a, you must upgrade all ArcFM Solution products. Mixed versions of ArcFM Solution products are not supported.
• Anti-Spyware must be disabled before installation to avoid interference with the installation. They may be restarted after installation is complete.

Perform the following steps, in sequence, to install Fiber Manager:

1. Navigate to Downloads.
2. Double-click the Microsoft installer file for this product.
3. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
