Fiber Manager 10.8.1a Release Contents

Fiber Manager allows users to manage and analyze fiber optic systems. It provides a set of tools and reports that connect, maintain, and manage an organization's fiber infrastructure.
 

There is no new Fiber Manager functionality in the 10.8.1a release of ArcFM Solution.

Upgrade Information

Installation Instructions

The 10.8.1a installers act as complete installers for versions of ArcFM Solution prior to 10.8.1, and upgrade installers for ArcFM Solution 10.8.1 and newer. As such, you will first need to uninstall any version of your product that is below 10.8.1 before installing ArcFM Solution 10.8.1a.

PRE-INSTALLATION NOTES

• Ensure that your hardware and software meet the ArcGIS system requirements. 
• ​Ensure that your hardware and software meet the specifications in 10.8.1 - 10.8.1a ArcFM Desktop, Designer, Designer Express, Network Adapter, Fiber Manager, Conduit Manager, License Manager, and Object Reader for Desktop - Supported Versions.
• Fiber Manager 10.8.1a requires a complete upgrade to ArcGIS 10.8.1. ArcGIS must be upgraded before you upgrade to Fiber Manager 10.8.1a.
• When you upgrade to Fiber Manager 10.8.1a, you must upgrade all ArcFM Solution products. Mixed versions of ArcFM Solution products are not supported.
• Anti-Spyware must be disabled before installation to avoid interference with the installation. They may be restarted after installation is complete.

Perform the following steps, in sequence, to install Fiber Manager:

1. Navigate to Downloads.
2. Double-click the Microsoft installer file for this product.
3. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
