The ArcFM Geodatabase Manager enables administrators to automate reconcile and post processes on versioned geodatabases, streamlining database size and maximizing performance. Key features include preconfigured, out-of-the-box reconcile and post services; stand-alone product and licensing architecture; and a single, multi-faceted dialog interface.
There is no new functionality in the 10.2.1b release of ArcFM Geodatabase Manager.
Geodatabase Manager 10.2.1b contains the following bug fix:
- GDBM does not run Feeder Sync after about 15 consecutive postings. MM54569

Installation Instructions
The Geodatabase Manager 10.2.1b installers are complete installers that also perform as upgrade installers for versions 10.2.1 and 10.2.1a. Geodatabase Manager 10.2.1b requires a complete upgrade to ArcFM Solution 10.2.1b, and a complete upgrade to ArcGIS 10.2.1 or higher, before installation. You cannot install ArcFM prior to installing ArcGIS.
Note: If you have 10.2.1 or 10.2.1a versions of ArcFM Solution, you do not need to uninstall those versions before you install ArcFM Solution 10.2.1b. You will, however, need to uninstall versions of all products prior to 10.2.1 before installing ArcFM Solution 10.2.1b.
Anti-Spyware: Before installation, disable all anti-spyware applications as they may interfere with installation. They may be restarted after installation is complete.
System Requirements: Ensure that your hardware and software meet the ArcGIS system requirements. Also ensure that your hardware and software meet the ArcFM system requirements defined at the GIS Support place on myArcFM.
You do not need to uninstall Geodatabase Manager 10.2.1 or 10.2.1a before installing this version. You must, however, uninstall any existing version prior to 10.2.1 of Geodatabase Manager before upgrading to Geodatabase Manager 10.2.1b.
- Open Control Panel and select View by Category.
- Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
- Sort the programs by Publisher and locate the Schneider Electric programs.
- Select the Geodatabase Manager version that is installed, click Uninstall, and follow the prompts.
- Close the Control Panel.
- Navigate to the folder that contains GDBManager1021b.msi and double-click the file.
- Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

SDK Installer: To install the ArcFM Solution SDK Documentation, the Microsoft Windows SDK or Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 must be installed. The SDK installer is a large file to download (~600mb). With 10.0.3, we had to change the developer help format in order to integrate with Visual Studio 2010. This new format in conjunction with the volume of developer help has led to a very slow installation process. Installing the SDK will take several minutes. The
ArcFM Solution Resource Center contains everything available in the SDK installer plus some additional information (e.g., free tools and technical white papers).
