Geodatabase Manager 10.8.1 Release Contents
The ArcFM Geodatabase Manager enables administrators to automate reconcile and post processes on versioned geodatabases, streamlining database size and maximizing performance.
There is some new functionality in the 10.8.1 release of Geodatabase Manager that is described in What's New in 10.8.1?.
Geodatabase Manager 10.8.1 contains the following bug fixes:
- CLS-78660 – Users other than SDE cannot submit sessions to GDBM.

Installation Instructions
PRE-INSTALLATION NOTES
- The 10.8.1 installers are complete installers for versions of ArcFM Solution. As such, you will first need to uninstall any version of ArcFM Solution.
- Ensure that your hardware and software meet the ArcGIS system requirements.
- Ensure that your hardware and software meet the specifications in 10.8.1 Geodatabase Manager - Supported Versions.
- Geodatabase Manager 10.8.1 requires a complete upgrade to ArcGIS 10.8.1. ArcGIS must be upgraded before you upgrade to Geodatabase Manager 10.8.1.
- When you upgrade to Geodatabase Manager 10.8.1, you must upgrade all ArcFM Solution products. Mixed versions of ArcFM Solution products are not supported.
- When upgrading to 10.8.1 from a version prior to 10.6.1, you must obtain new 10.6.1 version licenses. Learn how to request a new license in How-To - ArcFM - Request a License. Contact Schneider Electric with licensing questions.
- Anti-Spyware must be disabled before installation to avoid interference with the installation. They may be restarted after installation is complete.
Perform the following steps, in sequence, to install Geodatabase Manager:
- Navigate to Downloads.
- Double-click the Microsoft installer file for this product.
- Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Documentation
